Your wedding day is one of the most wonderful and joyful days of your life.  I enjoy creating stories of the coming together of brides and grooms with their family and friends, in the beauty of nature and the amazing landscape which just takes my breath away. My wedding photography emphasizes a simple elegance which reflects the way you naturally show your affection for each other.  My photojournalistic and artistic flair will capture the fun and surprises, the wonder of your love for each other, and the beauty of your wedding day.

My photographic artistry is my gift to  you.  I can see the love, joy and beauty within the tapestry of your special day and in your overall story unfolding.  Yet it takes more than just feeling and seeing the story unfold – it also takes the ability to take what you see in your mind’s eye and  blend your unique personalities to bring those images into the camera and then to printed page, which create your memories.   I blend the brides and grooms I capture with my artistic flair of composition, lighting and attitude of  being alive to capture the stories and memories which touch the hearts of others in a way that will hold and infuse the memories into your hearts in the years to come. Every bride and groom is unique and I strive to create the story that is personalized for you.

My photography is really personalized to you.  I offer packages which include photographs and genuine leather albums or coffee table books, as well as ala carte pricing and elopement packages. In addition, your images are placed online so you and your family and friends may revisit your wondrous day.

I received my basic education through UCLA and I continue to learn and evolve as an artist, because I think that’s one of the things I enjoy about photography – it’s always expanding and changing.  Now with digital, the expansion is like being catapulted into another galaxy, where there are endless possibilities.  The world around us changes, but the basics are still here – the wonderful celebrations of life and the unique stories which can be captured to seize your wonderful wedding memories.  For a photograph is like a tapestry which calls forth the memories of the one special moment in time when it was taken. Your wedding day has hundreds of these special moments to remember.

My History in my love of photography:

My romance with photography sprang from my curiosity with a blue box camera at the bottom of my grandma’s antique desk, and was nurtured by a gift of a camera at the age of 10.
 
Through thousands of rolls of film that captured family, friends and vacations, grew a fascination and love for photography which continues ever stronger.  Now with the digital arena playing a part, the expansion is like being catapulted into another galaxy, where there are endless possibilities.
 
While working in the corporate arena, I realized my passion in life was photography. It was an avenue for artistic expression which would challenge my senses, and create opportunities for expanding ideas in the field I love.

My body of work has evolved over time and really embraces the rich tapestry which is Earth’s  family and bounty, as woven with the magic I feel about the people and our beautiful environment.  I see all life on  our Earth as part  of our wonderful family which provides blending of love,  joy, beauty and wonder here in Sedona and in other parts of the world offering a diverse landscape and culture.

These accomplishments combined with my extensive photographic sojourns throughout the world combined with my love of nature and the life force which surges through all creation, is like a continually evolving tapestry.
